What you are doing

Movement builds into a release for acceleration and shooting. The interesting part is choosing when to stop steering and commit to the shot.

Controls

Hold and drag with mouse or finger to control the player; release according to the on-screen prompt to accelerate or shoot.

Practical notes

Create a clear shooting lane before releasing.
Do not use maximum movement when a small correction lines up the target.
Watch the defender's position, not only the ball.

Before you start

Match structure and scoring are left to the game. The hold, move, release sequence comes from the supplied controls.

Why we kept it

It gives the sports group a movement-to-shot mechanic rather than a static penalty screen.
